This Privacy Policy explains how Verinta ("Verinta", "we", "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use our website builder service ("Service").

1. Information We Collect

Account information: your email address, and password (stored securely, hashed, by our authentication provider) or your Google account information if you sign in with Google.

Content you create: the descriptions you enter, the websites you generate, any text edits you make, and any logo images you upload.

Usage data: how many previews, AI edits, and downloads you use each period, so we can enforce plan limits and provide support.

Payment information: if you subscribe or purchase a download, our payment processor, Stripe, handles your card details directly. We never see or store your full card number — we only receive limited information such as your plan, billing status, and transaction history.

2. How We Use Information

To provide, maintain, and improve the Service;
To generate your websites using AI, based on what you describe;
To process payments and manage subscriptions;
To send you service-related emails (like account confirmation or billing receipts);
To detect and prevent abuse, fraud, or violations of our Terms.

We do not sell your personal information.

3. Third-Party Service Providers

We share information with service providers who help us operate Verinta, including:

Supabase — authentication and database storage;
Stripe — payment processing and billing;
DeepSeek — the AI model provider (deepseek-v4-flash) that generates website content and applies your requested edits;
Vercel — application hosting;
Resend — transactional email delivery (e.g. account confirmation).

These providers only receive the information needed to perform their function and are bound by their own privacy and security obligations.

What we send to the AI provider: only the business description you type in, the current content of the website you are editing, and the edit instructions you give. We never send your email address, payment information, or account details to the AI provider.

4. Cookies

We use cookies necessary to keep you signed in and to remember your session. We don't use cookies for third-party advertising.

5. Data Retention

We retain your account information and generated websites for as long as your account is active. If you delete a project, it is removed from our active systems. If you delete your account, contact us at support@verinta.ai and we will delete your personal data except where we are required to retain records (for example, billing history) for legal or accounting purposes.

6. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to object to certain uses of it. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@verinta.ai.

7. Children's Privacy

Verinta is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

8. International Data Transfers

Our service providers may process and store data in countries other than your own, including the United States and, for AI generation requests handled by DeepSeek, China. By using Verinta, you consent to this transfer of information.

9. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or a notice on the Service.
